India ‘A’ winning the final of the tri-series against the England Lions was the culmination of strong performances over the course of the tournament by a bunch of players. Three among them - Deepak Chahar, Krunal Pandya and Axar Patel in fact got call ups to the national team as places opened up due to injuries. However, the top scorer in the final, Rishabh Pant, continues to wait for another chance to show he belongs on the senior stage.
